Constitution
- The name of the society is "Bulkley Valley Rod and Gun Club"
- The objectives of the society are:
- The preservation and propagation of game and wildlife
- The education of the public on game and wildlife preservation by lectures, discussions, books, movies, correspondence with public bodies and individuals or otherwise.
- To promote the co-operation of hunters and fishermen for general good and welfare and particularly for the study and exchange of ideas and recommendations for the improvement of hunting and fishing.
- To promote and educate people in the safe and responsible use and ownership of firearms
- The operations of the society are to be carried on in the province of British Columbia and more particularly in the Bulkley Valley with Head Office at Smithers, BC.
- In the event of the dissolution of this Society, funds and assets of the Society remaining after the satisfaction of its debts and liabilities, shall be reviewed by a committee of Bulkley Valley Rod and Gun Members and a list made of suggested Societies to disperse the remaining funds. Societies must be registered within the Bulkley Valley and preference will be given to Societies with similar objectives. A vote, by mail in ballot, is required of the entire current membership in good standing with a two-thirds (2/3rds) majority vote to pass. This provision is alterable.
